Summer Aid
Because most students take a break from classes in the summer, financial aid is awarded fall-winter-spring. Summer is considered an additional quarter except for co-op students.*
Aid for summer is extremely limited. Students interested in summer aid should contact the One Stop Center (onestop@uc.edu; 513-556-1000; 2nd Floor University Pavilion) beginning in March preceding the summer quarter. Staff can assess your unique eligibility for summer aid.

Co-op students awarded aid other than Federal Stafford or PLUS Loans should alert Student Financial Aid of their co-op rotation. When accepting aid, this alert ensures maximum aid availability during in-class quarters. |

Students who know early on that they will be taking summer classes should speak with One Stop staff to determine their best use of aid. Knowing your annual aid limits, you may choose to reserve some funds for summer school by reducing your Federal Stafford loan borrowing during the academic year.
