Loan Entrance Counseling
The U.S. Department of Education requires all new Federal Stafford and Grad PLUS Loan borrowers to complete loan entrance counseling. The University of Cincinnati Student Financial Aid Office works with Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation to offer this requirement online through FASTFacts.
If you are going to be a new student loan borrower at UC within the next six months, please complete this loan counseling now. Failure to complete this requirement by the time your first loan disbursement arrives will result in your loan funds being returned.
Loan counseling takes 15-20 minutes to complete, and UC will receive record of your successful completion within 48 hours.

If you have not previously developed a log in on a Great Lakes Web product, you will need to create an account. This same account will allow you to complete online promissory notes and review your loan amounts throughout the life of the loan.
