Apply for Aid
The only financial aid application needed at the University of Cincinnati is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This single application is used for grants, work-study and loans at the federal, state and institutional level. Students should review scholarship information to determine if any additional scholarship applications are needed.
The application cycle begins each January 1 for the upcoming school year.
- We encourage you to complete your application online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This easy, quick, and secure method checks your application for errors and omissions and can save time in the overall process. The Web site also allows you to print a worksheet if you wish to complete the application prior to entering it online.
- Students wishing to use a paper FAFSA will need to call 1-800-4FED-AID to request a paper version, or they may print a FAFSA for submission.
Nearly all students are eligible for some form of financial assistance. In fact, over 90% of the students who applied for financial aid in recent years received an award offer.
